I'm Jae. Lead software engineer, AI engineer and school governor. Building things that matter. Writing about what I learn along the way.
Yorkshireman. Husband. Dad. Not always in that order.
Technical deep dives, bigger-picture thinking, and the occasional change of lens.
Being a school governor has reminded me that leadership is much more than technical expertise. It's about curiosity, judgement, empathy and the ability to see beyond your own area of responsibility.
Technology is a big part of my life. It isn't the whole picture. I'm also a school governor, a husband and a dad, with a Yorkshire perspective on it all.
